Fairfield Glade Ladies Club
To the Members of the Fairfield Glade Ladies Club:
We continue to experience changes as we live our lives here in Fairfield Glade! I think of the Fairfield Glade Ladies Cub as one of the stable elements in my life, but once again we must acknowledge change. Our President Sally Cooney had to step away from her position at the beginning of November in order to care for her husband who is seriously ill. Sally is a woman I greatly admire and pray for both of them as they fight this battle together as a team.
I have delayed replacing her Welcome Letter with mine, but the time has come. The Covid-19 pandemic appears to be receding as more and more people are vaccinated, so we are looking at holding our first meeting and luncheon in over a year! We are limited in our seating capacity for safety but even that will not tarnish our enthusiasm!
Our club's 50th Anniversary has passed, but the good that this group accomplishes is still visible. I'm so proud of how your Board of Directors has worked to achieve the goals we could reach in our community even under these conditions. As we take these first tentative steps to re-group and start again, I hope you will join me in thanking those who have preceded us and keep the goals of this unique organization in the forefront. God bless us as we try to do good in and for those in our community who need our help. Thank you for your faithful service. Please stay safe!
Becky Price, President
The Fairfield Glade Ladies Club meets monthly from September through June. It promotes friendship and fellowship for adult female property owners or residents of Fairfield Glade. The dues are $50 per year and are payable upon joining the club and annually thereafter. Annual dues for the current fiscal year must be paid no later than the September meeting to be included in the FFG Ladies Club Yearbook.
Paid members have the privilege of obtaining an early reservation for all Ladies Club trips. New trips are introduced at our monthly meetings and on our website, and reservations are accepted from members whose dues are current.
FFG Ladies Club’s mission is to provide scholarships to local students and assistance to community non-profit organizations.
